Art is a natural phenomenon in children’s world. Children enjoy and value arts in their daily lives. They are surrounded by arts. Whether it is in early childhood settings or at homes, children love to be creative. They love exploring, engaging, expressing and experiencing. They often do these in arts and through arts. When children become messy, when they are building something, when they are scribbling on a piece of paper, when they are digging in mud, when they are moving and dancing, when they are singing, when they are making facial expressions, and when they are role playing, they all show connection to arts.
Hence, the rationale behind having arts is that it helps children to make sense out of their world, express themselves and feelings, communicate their thinking, understand their experiences, become active and direct their own decisions.
Connected to Art.

We need arts because we want to make our children to be in the centre of making things. We want our children to have the best childhood. As parents and educators, we are aware of the enjoyment that children have when they are creative, active and when they are experiencing Arts. We want our children to be able to explore their individual identities, to value their culture, to express themselves and to develop and learn through various resources. We want children to experience life fully and freely. We want children to be able to wander, to imagine, to have a choice, to have a voice, to communicate and reflect, to discover and learn, to build and create, to draw and paint, to feel connected and being part of this world. These experiences are shaped by Arts and thus it is central to have Arts as part of their learning, developing and healthy growth.
Enjoyment!

Arts also aims at engaging, inspiring and enriching all children. It focuses on bringing out children’s imagination, as well as evolving their creativity, actualising their artistic potentials and valuing their expressions.
From simple thing you can create, enjoy and have fun.
